Officials who saw the body told TOI that there were strangulation marks on his neck, his face was damaged and the assailants had extracted all his teeth before the murder.
Based on the written complaint of the victim’s wife, Kusum, an FIR was lodged against five people under IPC Section 302 (murder). The accused have been identified as Raj Kishore, Sunil, Jitendar, Ramvilas and Guddi. Officials said that all the accused belong to Nagla Dedu village in Mainpuri and reside near the victim’s house.
The victim’s younger son, Harshit Yadav, said, “On Tuesday morning around 11, my father said that he was going to Agra and Hathras. He left with Rs 20 lakh in cash but did not disclose the purpose of his visit. In the evening when my mother called him, he said that he won’t be able to talk right away and that he will call back on Wednesday. However, when he didn’t contact us, we tried to reach him and found that his phone was switched off. Around 9pm that night, police told us that he had been murdered.”
Harshit claimed that his father was under stress for the last couple of weeks but did not share anything with them. “We believe that he has been murdered by his rivals as he got them out of the contract business.”
In her complaint, the victim’s wife has claimed that there was enmity between her husband and Raj Kishore after the two ended their business partnership a year and a half ago.
Mahendra Kumar, deputy superintendent of police and circle officer (rural), said, “Police teams have been conducting raids at various locations to nab the accused.” By the time this report was filed, cops had detained two people for questioning.
Meanwhile, SP’s Dilip Yadav, a member of UP legislative council from Firozabad, said, “The law and order situation has deteriorated. Every now and then SP leaders and party workers are being targeted.”

Identified as Sukhram Singh Yadav, the vice president of party’s ST/SC cell (Pichla Prakost), and a government road contractor, the victim was found dead in his SUV in Nagla Khangar police jurisdiction.
His body had strangulation mark on his neck, his face battered and strangely, all his teeth were pulled out. Based on the written complaint filed by his wife Kusum, an FIR was lodged against five persons under IPC section 302 (murder). The accused have been identified as Raj Kishore, Sunil, Jitendar, Ramvilas and Guddi. All the accused hailed from Nagla Dedu village of Kurk police jurisdiction of Mainpuri. All the accused are neighbours of victim in the village.
Speaking to TOI over phone, victim’s younger son Harshit Yadav said, “On December 26 morning at around 11 am, my father left for Agra and Hathras with Rs 20 lakh cash. He did not shared the purpose of visit, but in evening, when my mother called him on his phone, he said, can’t talk right now, will call on Wednesday morning. Next day, when he didn’t made call, my mother attempted to call him but his phone was found switched off. At around 9pm, Nagla Khangar informed us about my father death. He was murdered.”
He said, “My father was in stress for last couple of weeks but did not revealed anything. We believe he has been murdered by his rival, whom he removed from contract business.” According to written complaint filed by Kusum, “Sukhram Singh Yadav had removed Raj Kishore from the contract business partnership a year and half ago, since then he developed enmity.” Kusum believed, that Raj Kishore and his family had murder her husband over rivalry.
By the time this repot was filed, police sources claimed, two persons had been detained to question.
Deputy Superintendent of police, Mahendra Kumar, CO rural said, “Police teams have been sent to conduct raids at various locations and nab the named accused. Once they are caught, the interrogation with them will reveal the truth.”

Woman found dead with throat slit
Bengaluru, 28.12.17 dhns: A 29-year-old homemaker was found murdered at her residence in Kabbehalla near Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru West, on Tuesday.
The victim, Taslima Banu, married to Abdul Razzaq and a mother of two, was found with her throat slit.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) M N Anucheth said the murder came to light when her elder son returned home at 3.30 pm.
“We suspect that the murder happened between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm. We are checking CCTV camera footage in the surrounding area,” the officer said.
“According to local residents, around 11 am, a person had come asking for the victim’s address and went towards her house. There was no forced entry into the house. All the jewellery on her was intact. We are verifying whether any other valuables from the house are missing,” the officer

Police fails to arrest ‘dreaded’ contract killer

Bijnor: The fear of a contract killer named Aditya, who killed two men in the past 15 days, has gripped Bijnor’s Rana Nangla village and vicinity areas. There are various cases filed against Aditya in different police stations here. Last year, Aditya had fled from the custody of Moradabad police. Police has also confronted him in two encounters but could not arrest him.
A notorious gang has appeared in the district, creating panic among the villagers. The kingpin of the gang is a 28-year-old man, Aditya from Rana Nangla, a village in Syohara district. According to police record, this gang has gunned down two men within 15 days. A person, Omraj from Khairpur village, was gunned down on October 3 when he was returning home from Haldaur. Aditya and his accomplices killed him on contract bases.
After this murder, Aditya shot dead another man four days ago. He suspected that the victim , Mukesh Kumar (40), was a police informer. Police had encircled him in a field but could not arrest him.
Aditya Kumar carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, escaped from the police custody some months back. There were several other cases against him under section 147, 148, 149, 307, 332, 336, 353 and 7 criminal law Act in Sherkot and Syohara police station.
According to superintendent of police, Prabhakar Chaudhary, “Police have registered gang of Aditya as ‘Gang G 27/17’ in the record of police. I have recommended to increase the reward on him from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000.”
